Maintaining an active lifestyle outside of the office, Brodie Cobb is an athlete with particular interest in sailing and cycling. A fan of live music, he has served on local committees involved in organizing musical events. Driven to succeed in all of his endeavors, Brodie Cobb has made significant accomplishments in both his professional and personal pursuits.
Brodie Cobb launched his investment advisory firm, Presidio Financial Partners LLC, in 1997. By 2004, Presidio Financial had forged a solid reputation for itself as a straightforward investment firm providing advisory services without pushing its own agenda or springing surprise fees on its clients. Since its inception, Presidio Financial Partners has grown to include additional offices in Los Angeles and Dallas, and Brodie Cobb has welcomed numerous world-renowned corporate giants to his advisory board.
Brodie Cobb earned his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and his Bachelor of Arts from Tulane University in New Orleans. A competitive sailor, Brodie Cobb was all-American at Tulane. Upon earning his MBA, Brodie Cobb attempted to join the United States Olympic Sailing Team in 1988, but did not qualify for the sole spot on the team in his class of boat. He instead participated in competitions at home and abroad, placing first in the 2006 Master Lasers North American Championships and collecting several medals with the United States team at the 2006 Masters World Championships in Korea. Now setting his sights on cycling, Brodie Cobb has begun entering cycling competitions.
Indulging his enthusiasm for live music, Brodie Cobb served on the Host Committee for Standing Ovations 2009: Rockin’ the Mint. The event honored several local music legends, including Booker T., Boz Scaggs, Carlos Santana, The Grateful Dead, Huey Lewis and The News, Jefferson Starship, and Tower of Power.
